Overview
I worked with a women’s wholesale fashion company to design and execute digital marketing assets that elevated brand visibility and drove B2B engagement. In addition to marketing design, I played a key role in improving the visual consistency and usability of their e-commerce website. My responsibilities spanned email marketing, ad creative, website optimization, and cross-platform content strategy.
The Challenge
Before I joined, marketing and website graphics were created ad hoc by different team members, leading to inconsistent visuals and brand fragmentation. The e-commerce site also faced UX issues, including mismatched banners, unclear visual hierarchy, and performance bottlenecks.
Role And Responsibilites
- Audited the website’s performance using Google PageSpeed Insights, conducted QA testing across devices, identifying bugs and offering actionable UI/UX feedback to improve hierarchy, spacing, and mobile responsiveness.
- Deployed targeted email campaigns using Omnisend, resulting in improved open and click-through rates through thoughtful design and messaging.
- Designed and managed promotional and website banners, updating assets in the CMS to ensure a cohesive look across the e-commerce site.
- Designed marketing graphics for email campaigns, product releases, and seasonal promotions, aligning with the brand’s evolving visual identity.
- Collaborated with the creative team to ideate and design social media content and Reels; scheduled and published posts using Later.
- Collaborated with the company owner to align creative direction with design best practices, balancing aesthetics with usability.
- Produced B2B line sheets and digital lookbooks for retail buyers, supporting sales outreach and brand presentation.
- Monitored performance metrics and content engagement to refine creative strategy based on data insights.
- Developed and optimized ad creatives for Google Ads, Performance Max, and AdRoll.
Impact
- Established a cohesive visual system for website banners and promotional graphics, eliminating brand inconsistency across channels. Increased email link click-through rate from 0.24% to 0.66% through improved layouts, visuals, and copy.
-
Improved mobile user experience by ensuring banners and layouts adapted cleanly to smaller screens.
-
Boosted AdRoll campaign clicks by 24% via optimized ad design.
